I set the board mode of the announcement forum to 'reply only' ... so only moderators and admins should be able to post stuff here (but everyone else should be able to respond).

I also made FurryAngel and Focuter to global moderators. So you both can practically do anything with the board ... of course, there are a few restrictions:
- You cannot delete users or edit their profile settings

But you can for example:
- Move, lock, remove, split, merge topics
- Manage boards, categories, attachements, news
- Manage membergroups, permissions, banlist

You both should have a button bar on the bottom of the page when reading a topic with following links:
"Move Topic  |  Remove Topic  |  Unlock topic  |  Set topic sticky  |  Merge Topics"
Just use them, if you like ; - )
